Frequently asked questions

Which licences does ForAllPilots cover?+

Three theory exams: the BIA (French aviation initiation certificate), the PPL (Private Pilot Licence) and the ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence). One subscription opens BIA, PPL, microlight and helicopter; the PRO plan includes them too.

Where do the questions come from?+

They are organised by official subject: the 6 BIA themes, the 9 PPL subjects and the 14 EASA/DGAC ATPL theory subjects. The BIA draws on the official past exam papers from 2019 to 2025, supplemented by the 2026 session (questions reworded from an answer key published by a third party) and by a preparation bank. For the PPL and ATPL, they are preparation question banks in the format of the DGAC/EASA exams. Across these three banks, about one question in ten was added by ForAllPilots, mostly from reference course material, to fill out some subjects: these are not exam questions. The aircraft-type questions, included with the ATPL, are revision questions, not official documents. Everything (questions and explanations) may contain errors. The English BIA and PPL banks are, for the most part, machine translations of the French ones.

How do I revise effectively?+

By working through each subject separately with questions in the exam format, spotting and reworking your mistakes, and training regularly on timed mock exams. That's exactly what ForAllPilots offers: targeted QCM, flashcards and mock exams, per licence.

Does ForAllPilots replace approved training?+

No. ForAllPilots is a personal revision tool that complements your training; it doesn't replace the official manual or the training delivered by a DGAC- or EASA-approved organisation, which is mandatory to sit the theory exams.

How much does ForAllPilots cost?+

Two offers, two choices each, all taxes included (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Private pilot (BIA, PPL, microlight and helicopter): €10/month, or €69 as an Exam Pass for 18 months of access. PRO (ATPL, Type Rating, Command Upgrade, psychometric tests), which includes Private pilot too: €19.99/month, or €129 as an Exam Pass for 18 months of access. The monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, at any time from your account; the Exam Pass is a one-time payment with no renewal. Each plan gives access to the QCM, flashcards and mock exams of its licences. The FCL 055 English test preparation (QCM, listening tapes, courses, Aerolingo) comes with both offers; only the oral with the AI examiner is bought separately, in the app.

Are there courses, not only QCM?+

Yes. Every BIA, PPL and ATPL subject has its illustrated course, in the « Courses » tab of the revision area: illustrated pages that explain the topics with diagrams, the key points, the exam traps, then the bank questions on that chapter to practise. The A320, A350 and B737 have their systems course too. The courses are written in French; the first chapter of each subject is free, the rest comes with the licence subscription.

Aim for your licence.
