Pilot recruitment at VistaJet

A fleet of mid- and long-range business jets (Bombardier Global and Challenger, Falcon 7X, Embraer Legacy). European operations run under a Maltese AOC, so an EASA Part-FCL licence is the baseline for roles with that entity. Recruitment goes through the Vista group careers portal (iCIMS), which also carries XO vacancies. Requirements vary by aircraft type and position (captain, first officer): check licence, hours and type-rating requirements and current openings directly on the VistaJet careers portal.

Recruitment information is given as a guide only (public sources, subject to change over time): always check the current conditions on the airline's careers site.

History of VistaJet

The company was set up in 2004 as Air Executive and started flying in 2005 with three aircraft. In 2008 it bought Bombardier's Skyjet charter business and placed large orders for Bombardier jets. Its headquarters moved from Switzerland to Malta in 2016. The Vista Global group then acquired XOJET (2018), JetSmarter (2019) and several US operators in 2021.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether VistaJet uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as VistaJet's.

To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
