Pilot recruitment at Jet Aviation

Jet Aviation is not a conventional airline: pilots fly owner aircraft under management, often in roles tied to a specific aircraft and type. The careers site offers two routes in: job listings by region (Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, US) and « Jet Aviation Staffing », a crew placement service for owners and operators, with registration on the « Staffing Marketplace ». Check the requirements (licence, type rating, experience) on each listing on the Jet Aviation careers site.

Recruitment information is given as a guide only (public sources, subject to change over time): always check the current conditions on the airline's careers site.

History of Jet Aviation

Carl W. Hirschmann founded Jet Aviation in 1967, taking over the former Globe Air hangars in Basel to open a business-aircraft maintenance centre. The company then expanded into charter, aircraft management and FBOs in Europe, the Middle East, the US and Asia. After a period under the Permira funds from 2005, it was bought by General Dynamics in 2008. Its acquisitions include Hawker Pacific in 2018.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Jet Aviation uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Jet Aviation's.

To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
