Pilot recruitment at Marabu Airlines

A 100% Airbus A320neo fleet. First officer (A320neo) postings ask for an EASA CPL/ATPL(A) or MPL(A) without operator bonding, an EASA Class 1 medical, a valid A320 type rating and at least ICAO English level 4; no minimum hours are stated and the posting says low-hour pilots are welcome, with a limited number of cadet positions. Captain postings require an EASA ATPL, an A320 type rating and substantial experience (3 000 hours total, including 2 000 hours as pilot in command and 1 000 hours on the A320 family, 500 of them as pilot in command). Contracts are offered on a fixed-base basis in Germany, with the base varying between postings. Marabu says it covers training costs and pays salary from day one. Check open positions on Marabu's careers page.

History of Marabu Airlines

Marabu was set up in December 2022 by Attestor Capital, Condor's majority shareholder, as an Estonian company. Its first flight, from Munich to Palma de Mallorca, took place on 15 April 2023. Its early months were marked by delays and cancellations, which the airline put down to technical problems with leased aircraft and a shortage of cabin crew.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Marabu Airlines uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Marabu Airlines's.

To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
