Pilot recruitment at French Bee
100% Airbus A350 fleet. Generally recruits pilots already qualified or experienced on this type, within the Dubreuil Group (also a shareholder of Air Caraïbes).
Recruitment information is given as a guide only (public sources, subject to change over time): always check the current conditions on the airline's careers site.
Pay and conditions, from public sources
Figures published by the airline, pilot unions or the press, each one dated (last update: May 2026). For information only.
- Pay: no public scale; according to SNPL, pilots have had no significant structural raise since French bee was founded in 2016 (May 2026).
- Minimum salary: the union says it has been frozen for two years, unlike at sister airline Air Caraïbes (May 2026).
- Progression: pay and career progression depend only on flight hours, not seniority, so fewer hours means lower income (May 2026).
- Dispute: the SNPL section filed a renewable strike notice for 13 to 18 May 2026 after pilots overwhelmingly rejected the 2026 annual pay proposals, described as a near-0% real raise (May 2026).
- Demands: an immediate raise to offset inflation, pay matching long-haul responsibility, and payment for tasks performed outside flight hours (May 2026).
- Recruitment: French bee held a "Pilot Road Show" in Madrid, Berlin, Lyon and Barcelona to hire A350 pilots (September 2023).
- Requirements: EASA ATPL, at least 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft and ICAO English level 4 or above (September 2023).

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection
Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether French Bee uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as French Bee's.
To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
- BQ psychometric tests: cubes, matrices and word problems
- CUT E / AON psychometric tests: deductive reasoning, landing and tunnel
- COMPASS psychometric tests: flying a flight display and orientation
- DLR psychometric tests: spatial orientation, vigilance and perception
