Pilot recruitment at Air Dolomiti

Embraer E190/E195 fleet. The airline mainly recruits licensed first officers through direct entry (CPL/IR with ATPL theory) and trains them on the Embraer 195; Air Dolomiti says it provides the type rating free of charge to young pilots who pass this recruitment process. Operating bases are Munich and Frankfurt, with Verona and Florence as key cities in the network. Check current requirements and openings on Air Dolomiti's careers page.

Recruitment information is given as a guide only (public sources, subject to change over time): always check the current conditions on the airline's careers site.

History of Air Dolomiti

Founded on 30 December 1989, Air Dolomiti began flying in January 1991 with a Trieste-Genoa route, then launched international services from Verona to Munich in 1992. Lufthansa took a 26% stake in 1999 and full ownership in 2003. In March 2024 the Lufthansa Group announced fleet growth, partly through Embraer jets transferred from Lufthansa CityLine.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Air Dolomiti uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Air Dolomiti's.

To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
