An all long-haul operation flying only the Boeing 787-9, with a single base in Papeete. No accessible official careers page sets out pilot recruitment conditions (training, minimum hours, licence), so check for any openings directly on Air Tahiti Nui's website.

History of Air Tahiti Nui

Founded on 31 October 1996 to develop tourism to French Polynesia, Air Tahiti Nui began flying on 20 November 1998. After years of losses and a threat of bankruptcy in 2011, it returned to profit in 2015 and replaced its Airbus A340-300s with Boeing 787-9s (the last A340 left in September 2019). In March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it operated a nonstop Papeete-Paris flight, at the time the longest domestic flight ever flown.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Air Tahiti Nui uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Air Tahiti Nui's.
