Pilot recruitment at Air Belgium

Air Belgium no longer operates passenger flights: it flies cargo (ACMI/CMI and charters) with Boeing 747-8F and Airbus A330-200F aircraft within the CMA CGM group's air freight division. No official information is published on a pilot training scheme or recruitment requirements, check the 'Jobs' section of airbelgium.com before applying.

Recruitment information is given as a guide only (public sources, subject to change over time): always check the current conditions on the airline's careers site.

History of Air Belgium

Founded on 27 May 2016, Air Belgium began flying on 3 June 2018 to Hong Kong with Airbus A340-300s and later operated A330-900s. It ended scheduled passenger flights on 3 October 2023 to concentrate on charter and cargo work, and applied for judicial reorganisation in September 2024. On 30 April 2025 the company was declared bankrupt by the Walloon Brabant enterprise court, while its cargo operations were taken over by CMA CGM.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Air Belgium uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Air Belgium's.

To practise anyway, the site offers several series of exercises, included with the ATPL subscription. They are practice exercises, not official tests: ForAllPilots is not affiliated with any airline or any test publisher, and the exact rules or scoring may differ.
