Pilot recruitment at Aegean Airlines

Fleet mainly of the Airbus A320 family, complemented by ATR and Dash 8 turboprops. Recruits qualified pilots depending on the period (check openings on the careers site). Also offers a “Pilot Scholarship Program”, created in 2018 and open only to Greek and Cypriot nationals: integrated CPL training with MCC, leading towards a first officer position at AEGEAN and Olympic Air.

History of Aegean Airlines

In 1992 Aegean Aviation became the first private Greek airline to hold an air operator's certificate. Aegean Airlines was established in March 1999 and operated its first flights in May 1999 (Athens–Heraklion and Athens–Thessaloniki). It joined Star Alliance in June 2010 and completed the purchase of 100% of Olympic Air in October 2013, making it a subsidiary.

Preparing for psychometric tests before a selection

Some pilot selections include psychometric tests. ForAllPilots does not say whether Aegean Airlines uses them, or which ones: none of the series below is presented as Aegean Airlines's.
